Since we were founded in 1896 we have been one of the South West's leading choral societies, performing the great choral works with some of the UK's finest soloists and professional orchestras in the glorious surroundings of the 'Queen of English Cathedrals'.
We also work with some of today’s top composers such as Sir John Rutter, one of our patrons, and Sir Karl Jenkins, sharing their glorious music with singers in Wells. Our outreach work with local schools and music groups helps us reach an even wider audience.
Our mission is to inspire and connect as many people as possible with the emotional power of choral music. To achieve this we require support from individuals and private organisations to help cover expenses of concerts and out reach activities. This is an opportunity for you as an individual, a family or a company to support our Charity. Our Friends and Benefactor options are outlined below.
