** CANCELLED **

Following the recent briefings from the Prime Minister, informed by the Chief Medical Officer, about the Coronavirus COVID-19 position which specifically advises against non-essential travel and public gatherings, the Wells Cathedral Oratorio Society has taken the decision to cancel the Mozart Requiem concert in Wells Cathedral on 28th March.

We deeply value the support of our customers and have taken this decision with regret. Naturally, all customers will be offered a full refund for tickets purchased.

However, being very mindful of the difficult situation professional musicians are in at this time Wells Cathedral Oratorio Society (WCOS) will be paying a percentage of the agreed fees (within our limited resources as a charity) to all musicians booked for this cancelled concert. If you wish to receive a full refund for your tickets this will be honoured but you may wish to consider foregoing a refund by way of a donation to WCOS Charity.

For those people who purchased your ticket via Cedars Hall your initial contract is with them therefore please use this route to obtain a refund.

For customers who purchased your tickets from the Cathedral Shop your contract is with the shop who have your details. The shop is closed for the time being but they will provide a refund to you as soon as matters return to normal.

We are having to manage this situation in unusual times and request your patience. Once again please be reassured a refund of your tickets will be provided as soon as it is possible to arrange.

With sincere best wishes,

The Wells Cathedral Oratorio Society
